Training

Are you having difficulties with your dog?

  • At home?

  • On walks?

  • Does your dog do as they please and ignore your cues?

Whatever the issue, YuTrain is here to help!

We work with a wide range of challenges, from basic training - such as manners, puppy foundations, leash walking, recall, jumping, barking, stealing, destructive behaviours, marking, etc.,  to obedience training & advanced behavioural issues, including reactivity, aggression, fear, separation anxiety, and more.

Our approach is structured, practical, and focused on teamwork. We guide both the dog and the owner, ensuring clear communication, consistency, and lasting results.

First Paw Session (Theory session to understand dog psychology)

  • HOW LONG: 45mn to 120 minutes

  • WHERE: At home

  • WHO: The whole family!

  • WHAT / HOW: You’ll learn to understand your dog & their behaviours.

We’ll set new rules at home for the dog to naturally find their place in the household. You’ll learn how to correct bad behaviours and how to reinforce the good ones.

  • GOALS:
-- A human who knows what to do!
    -- A happy, healthy & balanced relationship!
-- An owner who understands their dogs, their needs & behaviours.
-- A happy dog, respectful of their owner!

Practice Session

  • After implementing the new routine, and making sure your dog's needs are fulfilled,  you'll see quick changes. That's when we start the practice.

  • Usually starting with basic obedience training simply to teach you,  the owner, to have control over your dog in normal situations, then in more difficult situations.

  • Each behaviour disorder has its own solution. We don't apply the same method for an aggressive, fearful, or anxious dog. We adapt the method depending on the dog.

  • We use operant conditioning and positive reinforcement, adjusting the level of reward to match the dog’s motivation and the difficulty of the exercise.
