About Clem

Clementine Chavanon is a professional dog trainer located in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.

Originally from France, she used to be a nurse, a traveler, and  a dog sledding guide for several years. Today, she is dedicated to helping dogs and their humans navigate challenges, by understanding each other better, and build a stronger relationship.

Although dogs and people have lived side by side for thousands of years, they don’t always understand each other, and communication between the two species isn’t always intuitive. That’s where her expertise comes in.

Her approach is unique in the Yukon and focuses on reading each dog as an individual, guiding owners with practical tools, and creating lasting results through consistent collaboration.

Clementine’s goal is simple: to create harmony, confidence, and understanding between dogs and their people.

She definitly has a preference for behavioural disorder resolution.

Her Approach

YuTrain believes in hierarchy, structure, and leadership.

Our main goal is to educate the owners, and allow them to understand their dogs, their behaviours, and the psychology behind them.

We are not using force, but we are offering them the leadership they need to become healthy, happy, and balanced dogs. They will be grateful for that! (And you as well^^)

We work with all breeds, from puppies as young as two months to senior dogs. It is never too late to train your dog, but the earlier, the better!

Private training sessions are available in your home or outdoors, in both French and English.

Our approach is tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs.

It is grounded in canine ethology, psychology, communication, leadership, and proven learning methods such as operant conditioning, desensitization, and habituation.

By establishing clear rules and boundaries while ensuring your dog’s physical and emotional needs are met, they will naturally find their place within your family.
